Hey this is my first time posting. I bought the new NES Edition 3DS and I'm having issues with it. The touch screen is way too bright and was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem. I called Nintendo and they said they never heard of it. And I really don't want to have to mail it off for 2 weeks when I just bought it. I can't return it either because I put my account on it and can't change it again for 7 days. But then I'd have to transfer my account back to my old 3ds and then take it back and get a new one then wait a week again and use up 3 of the 5 times Nintendo lets you transfer.
Oh cool. I think it's dumb the way they have it. I lost a lot of my games because of the having to transfer from one system to another. I had a Wii stolen and I had spent over $300 in the eStore and there was nothing I could do. You ever hear of the bottom screen being too bright?
change the brightness settings if it doesn't change, take a picture of the bottom and the top screens and send it to nintendo (email) then they can help you.
I have the NES edition and its just fine. I've never heard of just one of the screens being too bright. So even if you change the brightness settings the bottom screen is brighter than the top? If so, It sounds more like the top screen is the one that is faulty...
post some pics!
Why lie? I'm a Nintendo fanboy.
I prefer jumping on my enemies rather than shooting at them.
Yeah just the bottom screen. I asked them about sending a picture to them but they said they can't receive pictures how they work now. This is my 3rd 3ds and comparing to my other ones it's pretty bad I'm just gonna send it in to Nintendo
Strange, I have the NES 3DS XL which is just fine. Just send it in to Nintendo or transfer your data to a new one. You don't have to worry about the transfer limit anymore.
When I called them yesterday they said they probably wouldn't have the same xl to send back to me because it wasn't on their list. I had to tell him that if they can't fix it to just send me the same one back. Hopefully it won't be a problem. I've had a lot of trouble with nintendo in the past
