Hardboiled was created and boiled in the house music capitol of the world, Chicago. Listening to djs like Bad Boy Bil and Bobby D on the radio, and then seeing old videos of DJ Qbert win DMC DJ battles got hardboiled into the rhythmic mixing of djing and scratching.
