Re: EU WiiWare Update: Tetris Party, The Incredible Maze and Home Sweet Home

Ok, the long wait for Art Style games, not getting goo on wiiware at all etc, is infuriating but we DID get tetris party. Online tetris = sweet! (aka bye bye social life) Besides I have a day job and would have to call in sick if I wanted to even scratch the surface of all the great games the US got in the past couple of weeks. Thank the lord for small mercies.

Anyone know the reasoning behind the decision to not releasing this as a digital download in pal regions? And yes, if we have to pay more than 20 euro just for the extra level we are getting screwed over.

Im trying to rationalise people being disappointed with the release of super mario 2. I really am. Doki doki panic with mario visuals,...
Ok. So? It's not like most people didn't know about that for AGES. It doesn't change the playability nor the originality of this title one bit. What you get is some vintage Myamoto magic. And Birdo.

Everytime Nintendo tries something a bit different with one of their franchises the hordes are ready to dismiss it. Look at the universally reviled Zelda 2 for instance... Also brilliant, but different.

One more go.... Aaaaaarrrghhh. That sixth level is murder! I thought that after the fifth one it couldn't get any harder but the end of level boss in the sixth is kicking me where it hurts. Brilliant shooter, in fact one of the best vertical scrollers ever. I find myself playing this more than any wii-specific game out there (apart from Twilight Princess of course). The VC is THE reason to own Nintendo's machine if we get to play rare gems like these. More PC-engine shooters Ninty, c'mon!
