I have been playing Minecraft since the beginning and my son has been since he could hold a controller. Even with our own heavily nodded server I have never seen an update do this type of damage. I would imagine even a modest amount of testing would have caught this and can only suspect that the complexity of the Nintendo/Mojang/Microsoft relationship is getting in the way. Defiitely worried about non Microsoft console versions of this game going forwards
