DSiWare looks like THE reason for a gamer like me to upgrade to the new device. But not if crap like this is what will be released. I think we need more substantial games than these on the service to attract people to the DSi. I'd rather play solitaire or minesweeper for free on my computer than pay to get games with as little depth and reason to replay as these have.
There are so many great arcade games that any list seems like it might as well be random. Nice to see Karnov on the list. I used to play a lot of that one. Man, I miss the arcades of the early/mid 80s.
Snooze. Boring on the VC and WiiWare. At least we got Blast Works last week. All my time has been spent in the editing modes and downloading stuff from Blast Works Depot. For me, personally, this is the best use yet on Wii's online capabilities. (Sorry to hijack the thread, there.)
I love shmups, but I've never really cared for the time attack modes. I'm sad to say I'm skipping this game, although I was quite excited about it when I first heard about it.
I'm also jonesing hard for a Wii storage solution. In fact, I'm waiting on downloading any WiiWare games until I get more memory. I don't want to erase any of my VC games; I like having them easily available. This storage problem seems so acute that I can't imagine Nintendo will let it last for long. In my case, at least, they are losing business for it.
What's up with all the kids scared of the imagery in this game? I think this looks like a blast. I really hope this comes to the US. We can all use a little flamboyance in our lives.

Re: Mercs
Ha! This game was fun. I love how the US couldn't use its military even though the president was kidnapped!

Re: US VC Releases - 9th June - NES Import Duo
Hmm. At least the import spigot has been turned. Now I want to see the following games in the US ASAP:
Cho Aniki
Star Parodier
Gley Lancer
