My original plan was to wait for "3DS lite", but the huge price drop does make me wonder if it will sell enough to even get to the point where a hardware revision is done.

Gameplay sounds great, not crazy about the art style though.

This was the first game I ever got for my GameBoy, and I played it all the time. I'll certainly be picking it up for the nostalgia, curious to see whether I still have fun with it or not.

But how is the 3D? There is 3D, right?

Still wondering if/how Virtual Console games can be transferred from your old Wii to the new Wii U.

My biggest hope is for it to be patchable, in case something like snaking crops up again.

OMG I had that GameBoy battleship game! Had totally forgotten about it. Wow. You know that feeling when an ancient memory gets brought back up?

BluRay is Sony's proprietary format, you're never going to see it on a Nintendo or Microsoft console.

For crazy people like me, console color is important. I never bought a GameCube because they never brought the ZOMGAWESOME orange one to the states.

Controller as an independent handheld wouldn't make sense as that would cannibalize 3DS sales.

Do we know how DSiWare games look on the 3DS screen? Any stretching or stuff like that?

The "recapture the magic of the Nintendo 64 era" part is interesting because I always thought of N64 as the beginning of the dark times for Nintendo. They missed the boat on disc based storage and PlayStation took over.

Nice for Europe, but it's getting a little concerning in America where we still don't have FF3/6 yet. What's the hold up?

But can you transfer your dogs from the original game to the new one? That is the burning question.
