Yoshi's Island DS was my first Yoshi game and I loved it!
It might very much be nostalgia speaking but I never got why it is considered worst than crafted and woolly world by a lot of people... I enjoyed DS way more than these two.
Despite what everyone is saying, Fi is awesome and she's my #2. That ending with her is one of, if not the most memorable story bit in the franchise for me. Still Midna is my #1 as well.
My favorite game ever, I truly love this game. Mira was so fun to explore, the only games that made me feel the same feeling of wonder when exploring are Breath of the Wild and later Elden Ring.

I love the Shrouded Shrine in the Thyphlo Ruins, exploring the pitch black forest and finding ways to navigate was one of the highlights for me
