Re: Talking Point: Review Scores and Unwinnable Arguments

SethPuddle

I check the score first and then read the text to see what influenced the score.
but a bad score has never determined whether or not I buy a game because I know that i disagree with a lot of reviews, and I will (as in most cases) enjoy the game regardless of the review. I loved ZombiU, but it got a bad review. oh well. to each their own and call it a day.

Re: Pachter: Wii U Will Sell Between 30 to 50 Million Units During Its Lifetime

SethPuddle

we have been hearing this for a long time. and the wii sold 99 million units right?
didn't pachter also predict the end of home consoles last generation? i am fairly certain that he did. and look now. ps4, xbox 720/durango, wii u. not the end. this guy makes predictions, not fact. he has been wrong more than he has been correct so i'm sitting comfortably with my game pad. no worries here.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Stock Jump Bodes Well for the Value of Potential

SethPuddle

People can say all the bad things they want about the Wii and Wii U but the fact of the matter is that the Wii itself sold more systems than the xbox 360 and the ps3. so say what they will the evidence is there. plus nintendos hand held sold better than sony's. nintendo was on top and will stay on top because they bring quality games, give'em time and they will deliver

Re: Ubisoft Is "Optimistic" About Wii U, But Would Like a Price Cut All The Same

SethPuddle

Ubisoft is great, they make some good games. The support is welcome but honestly, we can do good or even better without these 3rd party developers acting like the wii u is some cancer patient that needs to be talked to like a child. all these developers talk about nintendo like they are the worst thing to happen to video games. nintendo brings unique gameplay with fresh and innovative ideas. not just the same crap over and over......cough...xbox...cough.......ps3....cough. All the games i see on the 360 or ps3, well the vast majority atleast are shooters. "let's make a game where we shoot people and things!"....."great original idea!" there is nothing wrong with shooting things but thats not all there is. and nintendo sees that. if the wii u had the support like microsoft and sony, no one would bother ms or sony. everyone is just afraid to try something new.

Re: Miyamoto: Mobile Competition Actually Helps Wii U

SethPuddle

I bought my Wii U on the release date. i haven't noticed the loading speed. i'm just glad to have a nintendo system that i can enjoy again. i was not a fan of the wii. there were some games (very very very few) that i enjoyed. like skyward sword and some others. but most games felt like cheap arcade games. not an actual game system. i love my Wii U and everything about it. the games and uses of gamepad are fun and i am super excited to see what the future holds for my Wii U

Re: Wii U Error Preventing Access To eShop And Firmware Updates In Japan

SethPuddle

@cdude
i agree. perfection takes time. and as with your example, the 360. i remember when they first came out. all of my friends ran out and bought them. and then they had to call the hotline because every single one of them red ringed and died in a week. so yes. perfection takes a while. and i haven't been paying much attention but the ps3 has been hacked how many times?

Re: Aliens: Colonial Marines

I wish this game would either come out or just cancel. I'm sick of wondering if it will come out and when. It got pretty bad reviews but i'm willing to give it a chance.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD

SethPuddle

Wind Waker was one of my favorite zeldas. it was rich and fun. i love the little cel shaded dust trails you kick up when running. it was for sure the best game for the gamecube and one of the best zelda games. and now in HD and who knows how else they will make it better. plus the tingle tuner with the GP. can't wait. but we need a majoras mask remake. like a complete remake. would be awesome.
