A little information from Gamestop - first, I was one of 4 who got the 6 piece bundle pack for my son, took 1 1/2 hours but I got it. Second, according to an email the clerk read to us in the store, there is a set number to be released at 3 pm, then later in the day they will release the rest on the website. As for those complaining about Nintendo not getting you enough Amiibo's, low supply drives demand and is good for business whether you like it or not it is a smart move on Nintendo's part.
