Each trailer has made me less excited for this game. I may get it after reviews come out but there are other games that are coming out around the same time that will occupy my time
If I can use the joycons and play the games in handheld mode then this is amazing. If I cannot use the Joycons and this is essentially just streaming it and I have to play in table top mode or TV mode using another remote then this is kind of pointless imo.
When this game first came out on PS4 I didn't think much of it and probably wouldn't have gotten it if it wasn't that months free game with PlayStation plus. Looking back this is one of my all time favorite games and one that I have consistently played over the last few years. Day one purchase for me since the idea of being able to play this game whenever, where ever is too great.
Best buy messed up my order here in the US. I was supposed to get it on launch day, well according to my orders tab on their website I was supposed to get it the day before but I wasn't holding my breath on that one, but right after it started shipping I got an email saying that I would not be getting it until Monday.
The stupidest part is that I got my pro controller, Legend of Zelda game, and carrying case on launch day even though they were all a part of the same order.
@Adamario While you're right that traditionally a small line up of launch games was never an immediate death sentence and that a full list of launch titles will guarantee success, but coming off the Wii U where one of the biggest concerns was a substantial library of games and entering a generation where PS4 and Xbox already have a large library, it would not have hurt the Switch to have at least ten launch titles.
This list really is abysmal and makes me nervous that Nintendo didn't learn much from the horrible Wii U launch just 4.5 years ago. The optimistic side of me hopes that they wanted the press conference to be focused on the system itself and not on the games and that they are waiting for another event like PAX at the end of the month to reveal their full launch line up. Unfortunately I would not be surprised if this was their full launch line up.
