by the time the New 3DS arrives (xmas 2015?) I will be ready to upgrade! I've had my regular 3DS since they released and could not be happier with the console. It has steadily become one of my all-time favorite Nintendo consoles and the new improvements in New 3DS seem like a good reason and time to upgrade.
Nintendo should make their own version of a Minecraft-like game. I know they love to be original, but man, i'd love to have a game like minecraft on my wii u
I bought this once for my 3DS, once for my son's 3DS, and once for my daughter's 3DS. The game is so good and we all loved playing it, i was glad to purchase it 3 times. It really is one of the best games I've played in a very long time. I'm very tempted to buy it a 4th time.
I beat it twice and will be going back for a 3rd run to try and get all gold medals at the finish. So while the game is about 8 hours long, you can get 15+ hours if you go for the best scores at the end. And it's not just for completionist nuts; it's fun just to play through again no matter what.
Sunshine is probably my all-time favorite mario game. there are a couple reasons: the first was the graphics. the art and style on that game was ahead of any other game out there. i still think the graphics hold up very well against any other mario game.
Secondly, the incredibly tight controls for that game. The kinds of moves you are expected to pull off, especially if you go for 100% completion are insane. I know, you might be thinking about the jet pack. but here's the thing. you come to rely on that jet pack and get used to it assisting your jumps. then, when it's taken from you in certain levels, you truly get a sense of danger and fear in every jump!
