Re: "I'm A Sucker When It Comes To Story" - PS4/5 Architect Recalls "Transformative" Experience With A GameCube Classic

Mark Cerny did not work on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992).

Sonic 2 was primarily developed by Sega Technical Institute (STI) in California, led by Yuji Naka, with key contributions from Hirokazu Yasuhara, Masato Nakamura (music), and a mix of Japanese and American developers.

Where Mark Cerny fits in:
Mark Cerny did play a major role in founding Sega Technical Institute, the studio that later created Sonic 2, but by the time development on Sonic 2 began, Cerny had already left STI for other projects. So he influenced the creation of the studio, but not the game itself.

I suspect Microsoft want a healthy install base of more than 10M Switch 2’s to be sold, until they start releasing them. Look at GTA, releases when machines have 100M install base and reap rewards

@Toastmaster great Microsoft comments and I’m stunned we don’t know more games coming other than Indy next year.

I’m gagging for Gears, Forza and Halo to come over to Switch 2.

I remember Peter Moore back in the day saying once a console has sold 10M units, the games starting coming from other developers/publishers
