All the folks in the comments asking why this is important... it’s difficult to explain to people who aren’t queer.
Representation is so important and so absent in video games.
The only reason this is called a ‘best friend ceremony’ is because the developers are weak, cowardly people. Maybe same-sex marriage is illegal in Japan, but there’s a way to work towards that.
