@roy130390 it's still not the perfect story but the characterizations make sense when you get into their supports. The birthright siblings were pretty similar to the nohr siblings in that they don't want to hate you but they have to fight you. The undertone of racism wasn't there as well.

Camilla seems crazy but when you really get into it, with how nohr works the four of them were never really allowed to love each other when they were young. We enter their stories at a time of peace after they've killed a few of Garon's other kids. Then in comes Corrin who doesn't have any claim to the throne and is separated from everyone else. She (and the other 3) can put all the love she has into this one sibling 100%, so it's more understandable that betraying her she'd be distraught over the one sibling she believed she would never have to worry about betray her so deeply. Nohr seems crazy because with the way they kinda sanitized it in English you don't understand that they grew up in a ***** up environment and they've already killed some of their family.

Extra tidbit, that's why Leo in Jp is very in love with Camilla cause she didn't feel like a sibling growing up.

@roy130390 I feel like I had a different experience playing Fates in Japanese where even thought the story still wasn't the best, things flowed a little better. Xander was literally so bound by tradition and honor he could succumb to a lot of what he did in birthright but playing conquest you see that he's actually pretty 3 dimensional.
