@PharoneTheGnome thanks dude. I think people just like paying companies more and more floor something they already own. Ive got a steam pc and honestly feel like leaving nintendo behind. I love the games but hate the stance on software.l ownership.
@jsty3105 My point is still valid despite the alleged "forever" only being 20 years.
If you ever swap your Wii or 3DS due to hardware failure, your games cannot be redownloaded. They're gone forever. Not transfers to the Wii U or Switch or Switch 2. They're gone for good.
People agreeing with Nintendo on this subject are fanboys in complete denial. Blinkers on. Locked in.
Nintendo is the King & Queen of re-releases. For this reason they won't give ppl "forever access" to download their game library. They want to sell it to you again in 10 years time for twice the price. They're licensing you a bit of time, not property. When times up, say goodbye to that library of games ....wait... what if you paid for continued access to your own purchases. Twice as evil. Nintendo will love the idea.
Paying for higher res and refresh rates is such a CON. On PC you'd get better performance as soon as you updated the hardware, not by paying more money. It's a joke.

Re: Two More Switch Games Have Received Compatibility Updates On Switch 2
One very concerning game is Octodad - crashing between levels. Not good.
