I was a casual gamer as a kid and now my kids are Nintendo kids (Wii, WiiU, 3 3DS in the house and now a Switch). My youngest fell in love with BOTW and is now playing her way through older games. She's already bugging me about Link's Awakening.
For those of us who didn't play through the games previously, this only makes the Zelda series that much deeper for us. She's played through Link Between Worlds and is excited to get at Ocarina and Majora on the 3DS now that they've dropped in price.
If $60 is the price to pay, then so be it. She wants it and we know Nintendo titles rarely drop in price and hold value long after the system retires.
I look at Nintendo purchases differently from PS4/Xbox because it feels like Nintendo is always fun, even when dusting off a 10 year old system. There's value in this, even if the game is short.
