Goat Simulator 3 is now available on the Switch 2, with all major DLC expansions available for purchase separately, including Multiverse of Nonsense, Baadlands Furry Road, Hocus Pocus Pack, Super Duper Pack, and the newly-announced Buck to the Future Pack.
If you happen to already own Goat Simulator 3 on the original Switch, however, keep in mind that you can bag 70% off the Switch 2 port. That brings it down from £26.99 to £8.09 in the UK, and from $29.99 to $8.99 in the US.
Gameshare is also available on the Switch 2 version as standard, so if you want to go frolicking with a buddy, then you can just link up via local connection with just one copy of the game.

The Buck to the Future Pack, meanwhile, contains 22 new items of gear along with the 'Robocock' (strewth) costume. You'll also be able to mess around with gravity and 'gigantify' NPCs around the world. The pack costs £6.49 / $7.99.

Okay, guys. Everybody behave themselves, okay? I don't want to even hear a mention of "Robocock". Absolutely no "Robocock" jokes, or "Robocock" stories, or "Robocock" ideas. Don't even say "Robocock". Okay? I think I mentioned it once, but I got away with it.
Lame, should had been free.
Is it a big enough upgrade to justify $9 rather than playing the Switch version via backwards compatibility? I don't think I read there being any Switch 2 exclusive content like with Nintendo's (still overpriced imo) "Switch 2 Edition" upgrades.
Good on the devs, most other devs would've probably made you double dip without any regard for your wallet.
I think it’s weird that you still have to pay 30% if you already own the game on switch 1, in my opinion it should have been free, or at most a symbolic price like 0,99 or something
I bought the Switch 1 game physically...doesn't look like I'm eligible for the discount price
That‘s very fair! 70% discount on Switch 2 are almost 300 euros you can save, and that’s in a time where daily life becomes incredibly expensive.
@ElkinFencer10 from what I saw even when played on Switch 2 via backwards compatibility the Switch 1 version is pretty rough, plus that version never got the expansions or even the free updates that the other versions got
Some DLCs, like the Digital Downgrade, were already available on Switch, but I think they'll have to be purchased again. There's no discount on DLC either; it seems like an expensive upgrade. I'm waiting for more discount.
So this updated version does not contain the DLC and it is only a performance update and they are still charging for it?
And since it is not a Switch 2 edition I assume you need to also buy again de DLC, if that’s true then this is messed up.
