Indie publisher QubicGames has a pretty busy schedule when it comes to Nintendo Switch this year, with five previously unannounced games all now in the works for a 2020 release.
The team has shared with us a new Indie Direct-style presentation video which you can check out for yourself above. It reveals all five games, and also touches upon the already-released Tharsis and Hyperparasite (which are both currently discounted on the Switch eShop).
We'd love to know which ones in particular take your fancy, so feel free to have your say on your favourites below. We also have you covered with written info on the new five Switch games a little further down, with descriptions taken from either Steam or each title's respective website:
Dex
Explore, fight, talk and hack your way through a rich cyberpunk world in this 2D action-RPG!
Wanted dead by a mysterious and far-reaching organization, you will traverse the futuristic city of Harbor Prime and make unexpected allies on your quest to bring down the system! In this cyberpunk adventure inspired by Blade Runner and Neuromancer, you are free to choose your playstyle: will you be a silent assassin, a hacker, a diplomat or a straightforward gunfighter?
Door Kickers
Door Kickers is an innovative realtime strategy game that puts you in charge of a SWAT team and lets you command them during a tactical intervention.
Analyze the situation, plan team routes, choose equipment and breach points and coordinate multiple troopers to reach the hostage room before the bad guys get to press that trigger.
It may sound daunting, and like real world CQB combat, it sure is. But most levels can be completed in minutes and on the fly improvisation works. Achieving the perfect planning, getting the mission done with no false steps, that’s a skill harder to master.
Good Night, Knight
A dynamic sneak-and-slash RPG that mixes procedural generation with hand-made puzzles and a darkly humorous story. Featuring heavy-hitting deliberate combat, robust stealth mechanics, threatening enemies with unique movesets and a vast array of game-changing items to discover.
Real Boxing 2
Fight like never before with Real Boxing 2, the continuation of the award-winning Real Boxing Enter the ring and experience epic duels. Create and personalize your own boxer - try different skins, dresses, tattoos, hairstyles and much more. Train in minigames to become a World Champion in Career mode seamlessly combining single-player gameplay and ranked multiplayer. Create your own style of play with hundreds of unique items, skills and punches, as well as developing character statistics. Are you ready for the next round?
Godfire: Rise of Prometheus
Godfire: Rise of Prometheus is an action-adventure title unlike any other for mobile devices, that puts the players in the armor of Prometheus – a titan that defies the gods and embarks on an epic quest to save mankind. With jaw-dropping visuals and animations created in collaboration with Oscar-nominated animation studio Platige Image and powered by the Unreal Engine technology, the game lets you experience dynamic third-person combat against hordes of enemies, epic in scale story and boss battles.
We should point out that both Tharsis and Hyperparasite are currently part of the gamesvcovid initiative, where 20% of all revenue from April to June gets donated to medical and research services fighting against the current pandemic.

Haven't watched the QD yet, so I can't comment on all the games, but I remember Dex from its Kickstarter days and almost backed it despite not yet having a PC to play it on (at the time I was planning on getting one as a second system), so I'm glad to see not just that they're coming to the Switch, but that generally development was successful. I'll take a closer look at it, and if it still looks now like it did then it's going on the wishlist.
Dex and Good Night, Knight both look pretty cool to me!
Huh, I thought Dex was already long released on Switch. 😅
Bunch of good looking games. A great Nintendo inspired Indie Direct. Fantastic job from the publisher. I bet these developers are ecstatic.
Dex for sure, possibly Knight and Tharsis too. Even Real Boxing 2 looks fun and I haven’t enjoyed boxing games since Ready 2 Rumble
@ryancraddock You've forgotten to add Tharsis and Hyper Parasite to the choices for the poll.
Godfire 🤮🤮🤮 keep rolling on the floor when in combat mode!! Terrible. Played it far back on ios.
Bravo! Some games looked really interesting. I'm a sucker for Cyber Punk so Dex looked pretty good. SWAT teams have to lend themselves well to an RTS, surely. Godfire looked well made, but a little too generic. Would need a very solid story line and sound track to set itself apart.
I've buying a fair few Qubic's stuff due to them always being on offer at really cheap prices, while i wouldn't call any of them great i do think for the price they cost me i got my money worth.
I have a few Qubic games and love em. Mana Spark is great fun and really loved the quality of it. That said, some games are not great, so you do have to be careful...
I’ll keep my eye on DEX for sure, and will likely wait for a crazy sale as Qubic very regularly has good sales.
Slick move. Who needs to wait for June or an E3 when they have such a great opportunity to announce new games now during the quarantines.
@TimboSlice I like the kimbo slice parody username with the cat avatar
Godfire & Real Boxing i faintly remember from iOS. I think there were well received but can’t see myself bothering with either on Switch (only dabbled in both on iOS).
Curious if they’re doing mobile ports for other publishers (a lot of their games seem to be from iOS), i wouldn’t mind them porting over the 2 Aralon games & Ravensword: Shadowland (all the same developer). Touted as “Elder Scrolls on mobile” which is kinda accurate but lowish budget, all 3 are great adventure games that give off a ES: III Morrowind vibe & for Qubic’s usual price they’ll be a steal on Switch for the amount of content each game provides (plus controller support would be lovely).
I just saw the video and was surprised, all look really interesting. Im certantly keep an eye on all of them.

I'll be keeping an eye on all of these when they launch, any of them could end up a gem.
None of these really interest me but I like how they branch out to different genres.
Wow, two games. Dex and real boxing.
Dex ended up being very meh, but I've heard its since had a few updates. Either way, not looking to experience it again. Door Kickers tho? Oh hecks yes.
@Savino That's the side scrolling, action oriented spinoff
Dex is cool. I liked the setting, but the "hacking" part was poorly implemented. Just a tedious twin stick shooter with very little strategy. But I liked everything else about the game, except that it was too short. I wouldn't double dip on it, but I enjoyed my time with it.
Think there (or was) a demo for Dex on PS4
Tried it years ago. Liked it somewhat, can see its appeal, but wasn’t sufficiently interested to purchase.
None, need some AAA games for the Switch now.
Dex and God Fire look promising, but let's see how they turn out.
None of these look the least bit interesting.
A half decent boxing game will do
Dex is outstanding. Played the hell out of it on Steam, got every achievement, gifted copies to friends. Will probably grab the Switch version at some point.
lmao these are all so bad ffs
Im not saying this one looks good, but I'd like a good boxing game.
Not familiar with any of them so had to check them out first.
definitely into the boxing one,
Dex and Real Boxing look good.
I might give godfire a shot for cheap, and Knights looks awesome. otherwise not my cup of kombucha
