You guys should include your review scores as a column as well.
I don’t have the Scribblenauts Mega Pack yet. I’ll pick it up at that sweet price.
Lego City is still one of the best lego games.
I'll pick up the Scribblenauts pack. Unlimited is the apex of this series, and sadly with the way things are looking now, it seems like that's the best we're getting out of this franchise
If Lego Harry Potter would've been $15, I'd have bought it.
@Dizzy_Boy I really wanted to get this game when the port was announced...did they ever patch the horrid frame drops and long loading times?
DAMMIT!! Now I have to decide between harry potter and dragon quest. I was going to get DQ first no question, but I want HP because of the ever-looming copyright dementors, and because lego is apparently one of the few decent billion dollar companies, but now it is on sale and AAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHH!
@alexybubble considering Lego is still making Harry Potter sets I wouldn't worry about the game getting taken down.
MOST of these have been cheaper in stores in the last 12 months.
The 'huge' sale includes things being MUCH more expensive (50%+) than you can routinely find them on sale for at retail.
If you are interested in these titles I'd recommend you wait and watch retail.
@AxeltheCorvikni I'm just a bit nervous after the lord of the rings games came down. Plus, you can never really know with licensed games, ducktales remastered came down even with the afternoon collection existing, and that really put me on edge with these kinds of things. I'd rather get it now than wait and lose the opportunity.
I wish they drop MK11 price a little more, I'd double dip just to have a portable copy.
@cyrus_zuo
People always say that you can buy cheaper at retail but it must be just a US thing. The only game stores near me (Canada) are Walmart, Bestbuy and EB/Gamestop; none of which have ever had these games any cheaper.
How about LEGO DLC?
Hope these discounts come to Europe.
Kids love these lego games.
Lego city is a brilliant game!
Me and the wife did Harry Potter collection, it's really pretty, makes me think it's a port of Xbox 360 version or something similar, definitely not Wii quality.
@alexybubble we got HP collection and it's very good! Definitely not a Wii Port.
@CaPPa
Yeah, it's a US thing. We have alot of retail options when you include US based internet stores. There are always good prices on games if you are willing to look for them. Except for first party.
I'm inclined to grab Scribblenauts Mega Pack at that price. I really enjoyed the games on DS
Honestly the new LEGO games are trash compared to the ogs
In the US, BestBuy and Amazon currently list Lego HP at $19.99.
Is this the trend now? Companies drastically lowering their retail prices to compete with the eShop and other companies? My local Walmart has been selling brand new AAA Switch titles for about $50 instead of $60.
Why aren't the Lego games prices similarly to PS/Xbox/Steam sale prices? I'm not gonna pay more than current retail for them
Of course when I'm low on money from Link's Awakening. :c
I suggest scribblenauts mega pack, contains 2 brilliant games.
MOST of these games are literally cheaper RIGHT NOW at retail.
Best Buy
I'm sure Amazon will match if you don't buy at Best Buy (they may done so already).
...short story though - these prices through the eShop are highway robbery!
THIS IS NOT A SALE!
Also, the MK11 Kombat Pack is on sale by itself. So if you bought MK11 physical but haven't picked up the DLC yet, you can get just the Kombat Pack for a little bit cheaper. I don't know why, but you don't often see DLC on sale by itself on Switch, so this is nice. I picked it up.
I must admit to being quite surprised by Cars 3, it's a good arcade racer but with an interesting open world bit where you need to do tasks and find stuff tacked on to the main racing game. Great for that price.
Hopefully the UK sees the same sale on Thursday
I already have Lego Harry Potter.
@Kintypoo121 The long loading times have been shortened, but they're still pretty long, and the frame rates for the most part are pretty good.
@cyrus_zuo
They are all $39.99 at Bestbuy.ca. The only one that matches up in price is Lego City at $14.99, but it's out of stock. So maybe not a great sale for you but it's a pretty good one for me.
I'm not buying any of them though as I already own most of them on other platforms. I'm just waiting for Lego Star Wars (but I'll buy that on XBO).
@Dizzy_Boy Thanks for the reply! Hmm, I'm very tempted now
