Next month sees the launch of Ellen on Nintendo Switch, a 2D pixel horror game which throws a nice bit of investigation into the mix.
In the game, you'll be helping a young investigator called James to uncover the dark truth behind the murder of the Smith family. Years have passed since all family members but the daughter were found brutally murdered, but people of the town are getting more and more uneasy as witnesses have spoken about seeing the silhouette of a little girl standing in the house. We're already creeped out.
Rumour has it that the silhouette could be the daughter, Ellen, whose body was never found. James decides to take matters into his own hands and figure out what really happened
Features:
- Play as James, an intelligent detective who is trying to get to the bottom of the paranormal events happening in the Smiths' Residence at White Hill.
- Dive into an emotional and thrilling experience while solving puzzles and persisting through nerve-racking scenarios.
- Listen to breath-taking soundtracks as you’re traversing through the unnerving residence of the Smiths' in a beautiful pixel art style.
- Enjoy the atmospheric storytelling as you unfold the mystery by completing all chapters.
The game launches on Switch on 13th September, almost exactly a month from now.

I always hate it when little girls start to laugh....
The graphics for the MC are horrible, the design sucks. But I'll be damned, those monsters look so good and the death scenes are truly magnificent.
Funny how I saw this and the first thing I thought of was Ellen DeGeneres on Halloween.
meh, doesnt look too disimilar to a whole load of other similar games on the eshop.
Mildly interesting, but probably better investing time in something like Layers of Fear: Legacy, which is a whacking 80% off on the eShop right now at £3.59.
It's pretty tense with the headphones and darkness combo applied!
Wait...this Ellen?
