As part of the Kinda Funny Games E3 Showcase, it has been revealed that Etherborn will be arriving on Switch and other platforms on 18th July.
We've been keeping an eye on this one for a while, with its pretty, gravity-defying platforming having us intrigued since a Switch version was first teased last summer. If you've missed our previous coverage, here's what the game's all about:
Etherborn is an elegant leap in the gravity-puzzle genre. An environmental puzzle platformer built on exploring and understanding gravity-shifting structures in dreamlike, Escheresque levels. You play as a voiceless being, born into a mysterious world where a bodiless voice calls to you, patiently drawing you to its location. You must take this blank soul on a journey to find its own conscience. Widen the limits of your perception and find the paths that are hiding before your eyes.
As you can see in the trailer above, your movement revolves around your own sense of gravity which locks you down to any surface. The world itself therefore becomes the puzzle, almost as if you're working your way around a giant Rubik's Cube.

Probably not. Looks kinda interesting but not enough.
Looks really interesting. If it runs at 60 fps on Switch I'll be very curious to play it.
Good reviews pending, I’ll do it
We all know this is going to be an 8/10
This looks like a game great for VR. Wonder if they've thought about it.
Really cool concept, but looks bland aestheticly. The description is filled with words like "voiceless" and "blank;" I know they're going for mysterious, but sometimes it annoys me when writers try to pass off minimal story content as mysterious mystery. I guess I don't know for sure, though; I'll have to wait for the reviews. And after all, it's a puzzle game. The puzzles are what really matters.
Looks great, love out of the box puzzles, like this one and Crush 3D on 3DS
Platformer with shifting gravity? Does anyone here remember "and yet it moves"?
