Arc System Works and PQube have revealed that the romantic visual novel Worldend Syndrome is receiving a European release on Nintendo Switch.
Launching both physically and digitally, the game will be available to pick up in the region from 14th June. That's not all, though, as those who pre-order a physical copy or secure a day-one copy from stores will receive this lovely artbook. As you can see, this little goodie is exclusive to Europe.
If you're unfamiliar with the game but want to know a little more, check out this info provided to us in a press release:
Romance:
Five gorgeous girls are with you on this mysterious adventure. Carefully pick your favourite but be aware: every girl has their own romantic ending!
Mystery:
After a high school girl goes missing, her body is found in the river. Resolve inexplicable incidents around town and collect clues to find out what happened!
Aesthetic:
Beautiful characters, pretty outfits and highly detailed sceneries make WORLDEND SYNDROME a treat for the eyes.
Exploration:
Freely explore the picturesque seaside town during morning, afternoon or evening to meet different characters and enjoy diverging moods.
As for those of you reading in North America, the current word is that it will be arriving in "spring 2019" as a digital-only release. Hopefully we'll hear a little more about it in the coming weeks.

Your Character: I found a girl's corpse in a river....that reminds me....time to find a girl to hook up with!
... who buys this stuff?
@illusion Nothing sparks romance quite like somebody's death.
"After a high school girl goes missing, her body is found in the river. Resolve inexplicable incidents around town and collect clues to find out what happened!"
...I'll save you some time. Ray Wise killed her. But it's not his fault, he was possessed by Bob.
@AlohaPizzaJack
Uncle Leland's hair turned white...
Noticed this earlier when I was looking for games I need to preorder. Can never have too many visual novel games.
@aznable Even one person getting that quip made it worth it to me
If you play these sorts of games, what you are feeling might not be romance.
Just sayin'
@AlohaPizzaJack Through the darkness of future's past, the magician longs to see. One chants out between two worlds... 'Fire...walk with me.'
Brilliant series.
I love visual novels but I won't get this for two reasons. First, this seems a bit too pubescent for me. Second, my wife would not be impressed.
Already pre-ordered

@AlohaPizzaJack i wonder if someone in town will sell cherry pie
@aznable I buy this sort of stuff.
DISCLAIMER:
This game WILL be censored in the West, because, you know, people that like and play Asian and/or anime related games aren't necessarily interested in and don't know the first thing about Asian culture, so we'd better not step on any Western toes here...
"Carefully pick your favourite but be aware: every girl has their own romantic ending!"
That reads like I should be scared of it. I honestly had no idea...
....Eh, I got better games to play.
@tobibra
Oh, I'm sorry.
I'm sure things will turn around, don't fret.
@aznable what a wise and profound reply.
Pretty funny too. /s
@G_M
I was being sincere
