The Rocket League collaborations don't look to be coming to a halt anytime soon, with Psyonix and Hot Wheels announcing another round of themed DLC is arriving on 24th September for $5.99 (or the regional equivalent).
The Hot Wheels Triple Threat DLC Pack includes three new battle-cars and a variety of creature-themed Toppers. Here's what you'll receive if you decide to purchase the new DLC pack:
- Three Premium Battle-Cars: Gazella GT™, MR11, and Fast 4WD
- Four unique decals for each of the premium Battle-Cars
- Gorilla, Snake, and Spider Toppers
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Hot Wheels, there will also be a brand new Hot Wheels-themed arena and customisation items added to the game for free. Here's the free content that will be available to all players:
- New Hot Wheels® Rivals Arena
- Hot Wheels® 50th Anniversary-themed customization items
In mid-October, Hot Wheels will also be launching its physical 5-pack of diecast Rocket League battle-cars. This pack includes the Gazella GT, MR11, Fast 4WD, Bone Shaker, and the Twin Mill III. Specially marked packs will also include a code, unlocking the exclusive in-game DLC, Hot Hot Wheels.
Are you still enjoying Rocket League on the Switch? Are you a fan of Hot Wheels? Did you buy the first series of Hot Wheels DLC? Will you be picking up the second content pack? Take a look at the trailer and tell us in the comments.
