We love a bargain at NL Towers, but sometimes you just can't skimp on quality (maybe). As such we've decided to peel back the satin curtain and take a look into the wondrous realm of the finer side of Switch accessories.

Check out the video above where we research the most expensive but arguably useful accessories we could find for the Nintendo Switch, and drop us a comment below if you've splurged on something top-shelf recently that would be appropriate to mention on a Nintendo website.

Man I hate Nazeem.
You can use Gucci hand bag for expensive Switch bag if you want.
Who else clicked on the link expecting an article full of accessories with provided links to purchase them, only to find out it’s a video?
Alex’s Joy-Con colors at the beginning are the exact same as mine. 😃
@Cartune and then made this comment and closed the link.
@Cartune it kinda says video right there in the title. But don't worry, I'm sure they have plenty amazon advertisements planed for the future.
I own the Hori arcade fightstick--it's fantastic! All of the arcade archive and neo geo games play beautifully on it. I also play Street Fighter, Mega Man, Shovel Knight, and I'm looking forward to playing Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze with it. Also, playing Pac Man Championship Edition with the joystick is bliss. BUT, I am hoping that when Smash Bros comes out I'll be able to reconfigure the buttons for the fightstick so that I can mercilessly destroy y'all online. The only thing I wish the Hori Arcade fightstick had would be a rubber 'nipple' like thingy for the right stick--then I would play nearly everything on it.
I'd pay good money for proper voice chat!
I bought a Hori stick. And I bloody love it.
@TossedLlama Bookbag, man! That's how all the cool kids in the 90's did it! And it's sturdier than plastic grocery bags, to boot!
@iflywright @GrailUK It doesn't need a rubber nipple, it needs a rubber walrus protector.
Nihongo Gamer has some videos with that Hayabusa Stick (he likes it enough to have 3):

He also has a more recent video with a better Switch stand.
I really hope we get more fight sticks for the switch, the hori isn't bad but it's more mid market and I personally don't really like their proprietary hardware but it's all we really have unless you want to get like a brooks converter.
@TossedLlama You could use a laptop carrying bag, or like me, buy an official product.
There are still some floating around, such as this one:

Or this one:

Or this one:

Pretty hard to find brand new ones, but eBay and Amazon have used offers on a pretty much daily basis.
"drop us a comment below if you've splurged on something top-shelf recently that would be appropriate to mention on a Nintendo website."
If that was a requirement moving forward, you'd see comments drop by about 80%
I just came here for the Skyrim reference.
I guess the fightstick is my splurge but I factor that in foe every new system purchase. I don’t do pads.
@GrailUK
I got the Hori arcade stick too.
It's fabo!!!
I got the Hori stick a couple weeks after launch "used" for $100. Wasn't even taken out of the plastic. I'm guessing it was a "buyer's remorse" return.
@Cartune yeah I thought it was gonna be a cashgrab where NLife sell there scruples for a percentage of whatever people buy who were directed to said product via this article.
@TossedLlama You're welcome. The Amazon one is actually unfamiliar to me, but I came across it during the search, and I just thought I'd include it anyway.
The other two are officially licensed bags, and come recommended by people I know, although they ARE of course used. But still, prices aren't too bad.
Personally, I have the officially licensed N64 padded carrying case:

Forgot to mention that one in my previous comment...
That arcade cabinet thing looks pretty cool 😱
@Cartune Yeah I would much rather just read an article than sit through an entire video explaining this kind of thing.
@TossedLlama No, not just the console, also two controllers, memory cards and a whole bunch of games.
I took some pictures of it:

They are quite sturdy, I've had this one literally for decades, and I took it everywhere back then. So, even if you can only find a used one, it should still be in good condition, unless they didn't use it in a normal fashion, but if they did, then all you would need to do, is a bit of cleaning, and you'd be good to go.
Either way, I highly recommend this one, especially because it's padded, and the outside is really sturdy as well.
@TossedLlama You're welcome, anytime. Was actually fun to grab the old N64 out of the closet again...
