Raiser Games has shared new information regarding Out of The Box, a "time management thriller" headed to Switch later this month.
Players take control of Warren Baker, the new bouncer of the prestigious club 'The Box'. After spending three years in jail, you just want to live an honest life and recover your daughter, but the quirky clients of The Box will drive you closer to your turbulent past, involving you in a gangster scheme that threatens to destroy everything that you love.
As head of security at The Box, you’ll have to follow the club’s rules (which become more complex with every day that passes), find out who is lying and who is telling the truth, and maybe even throw the odd punch or two. Your in-game choices will have an effect on future plot points, too; you can flirt with your boss’ girlfriend, you can decide to work with the police, but these decisions will result in a variety of alternate endings.
As you can see from the trailer, the game features a nicely presented cartoony visual style and a large dose of dark humour, hopefully providing Switch players with a quirky little adventure to explore.
Out of The Box arrives on Switch on 15th August for $14.99 / €14.99 / £11.99.

This could be interesting. I’ll wait for a review from y’all first, though.
One thing I miss from The old Xbox store was that every game had a demo.
Sounds like a more robust and less depressing Papers Please.
Loving the bizarrely narrow premise!
That really opens up for dodging the common tropes. Good on them for going M with this, I hope it pays off.
The least realistic thing in this premise is that a former con would not only be able to get a job right out of prison, but a good job like being head of security at a club. A running problem in the US at least, is repeat offenders because they get out of jail, have served their time, and can't get work because people wont hire a former convict.
