Last month, Telltale Games confirmed ‘The Final Season’ of The Walking Dead video game series would be arriving on the Switch in late 2018. Now, a new trailer has been released, briefly highlighting the school Clementine stumbles upon. Here she will start a new life as the leader of a young group of survivors while watching over an orphan named AJ.
Telltale will also be showing a live gameplay demo of the title at the San Diego Comic-Con this week, with footage scheduled to appear on Telltale's YouTube channel this Friday.
Take a look at the new trailer above and tell us if you’re looking forward to this emotional zombie-ridden journey.

Due to the story led nature of this series, does it really make sense to release the final episode when the others are not available on the Switch? Would that not be a bit like reading The Return Of The King without first having read the other two?
@Ooyah I think I heard somewhere that they’re releasing the first and second season digitally.
@Ooyah Found it!

@Mrtoad
Ah! Thank you for that! That is very kind of you.
It doesn't appear to be officially confirmed, but it sure would make a whole lot of sense! It does feature box art, so hopefully it is legit!
Give me a whole "Walking Dead Collection" where I can buy the whole thing and play it through on Switch from start to finish, and let me promise you: DAY ONE I'd buy them individually also, if that is the only choice, but I would prefer to get a collection now.
Heck, I will pre-order it! But unless we get the first seasons on Switch as well, I am not eager to buy this one on Switch. I'd get it on Steam, where I played them before.
@Ooyah just like Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus. But they did it anyway.
I have season one and two on my 360.
I can't wait to play the rest on my Switch.
All three on a cart ideally or all three in a reasonably priced package please.
Or I’ll complete my collection on Xbox.
(Let’s have mischonne one too - free bonus for being awesome switch owners and not milk us for once)
Season 3 ranked pretty dang low on my brilliance meter. Though I guess I’ll wrap it up with the final season, just to see it through.
