Death Road To Canada has been on our radar for a while, with its top-down mixture of roguelike survival and zombie-filled streets, and now developer Rocketcat Games has confirmed the pixel-happy title is headed to the Nintendo Switch eShop on 25th April. The game will be available for $14.99, €14.99, £11.99 with a 20% launch discount during its first two weeks of sale.
“We’re thrilled to announce the console release date for Death Road To Canada,” said Kepa Auwae, Co-Founder of Rocketcat Games. “We’ve been hard at work on the ports and we can’t wait for players to try and outrun our hordes of pixelated zombie. As far as we know, this is the first time console players have been tasked with escaping to Canada.”

Death Road To Canada will shuffle onto the Nintendo Switch eShop on 25th April. Will you be picking up a copy and battling the undead? Let us know in the comments below...

Ah, I knew the game was called “Death Road to Canada.” Thought the Headline was a tad confusing at first.
I like it, but the title did make me think they were bringing out the Walking Dead mobile game to switch (PLEASE GOD NO) at the same time
Will have to pick this up.
"with its top-down mixture of roguelike survival"
Roguelite, you mean.
That's exactly how I envision Canada. 😛
Cool it.
Hype
Looks great. I also love when developers offer discounts for people who buy at launch. More of that please.
Does it play with weird turbo movement? Or is that just game video sped up on youtube? Hopefully it's not turbo movement.
Loved this game on steam, can't wait to take it portable like The final station. Just feels it was meant to be played portable like that one.
Definitely picking up day 1 so hyped for this
This game looks like a blast! I will be purchasing it for sure.
I have this on my phone. It's like the love child of Oregon Trail (or should I say Organ Trail?) And Dead Rising (mainly 3 in my mind). It's loads of fun.
Played a good amount on Steam and iOS, incredible game and amazing choice for Switch. Day 1 purchase!!
