Japanese developer, Poisoft, has launched a Kickstarter campaign in order to raise funds for an English translation of their latest title Order Land.
The game is currently available on Nintendo 3DS and Switch in Japan, offering a mix of simulation, adventure, and RPG elements. There are several modes to play which allow you to see the same world from different perspectives; 'King's Play' sees you organising the politics, diplomacy, and war from afar, whereas 'Hero's Play' allows you to travel around the world.
If you're interested in supporting the campaign, you can find the link here. The goal is to reach 5 million yen ($45,000 USD / £34,000) before November 12th and, at the time of writing, the project already has 151 backers. It is perhaps worth noting that this is the studio behind the Switch launch title Vroom in the Night Sky - a game that was widely dismissed, partly thanks to its poor translation to English. It would appear that the developer is trying to avoid a similar situation this time around which is a great sign.

Hope more games can get Western translations (looking at you Monster Hunter XX).
Vroom in the Night Sky would explain why they need those added funds for localisation. But let's be serious, that game could of had the best localisation ever, it would still barely function as a game.
"Superman 64's intro was the best thing ever. Let's make a level based on that and call it a game".
Still have that bitter taste when it comes to Kickstarter. They offer no garanty you'll get anything when your precious money gets cashed.
I'm cautiously into this. I love non-real-time strategy titles, and even better when they appear on a Nintendo console (a too rare event in my opinion).
Whoa cool game!
From what I remember this game is also available on WiiWare (in Japan only). It was one of the most interesting RPGs at the time (next to Final Fantasy IV The After Years), but we unfortunately never got it.
I hope the kickstarter is a success. I'm waiting like 10 years to try this game.
Vroom in the night sky was the one-off from Poisoft. They usually make very good games.
£6.75 for a digital copy on Switch (if and when it ever comes out), might just be worth a punt at that price.
You lost me at Vrooom.
