The ridiculously-talented Lindsey Stirling has taken part in yet another video game project, this time relating to the upcoming Zelda-like adventure RiME.
Stirling - whose talents include violin, dancing and creating her own award-winning original music - has performed the game's "Forgotten City" theme in a special video, a tune she composed herself for the game.
This isn't the first time Stirling has worked in the realm of video gaming; she's previously appeared in Zelda, Child of Light and Pokémon-themed videos in the past.
RiME launches on the Nintendo Switch later this year.
[This piece has been amended to reflect the fact that Stirling actually composed the track herself, rather than adapting it from the game's soundtrack.]

Really good song, and her version is great
She's the absolute best of the best! Great song!
Very talented. Hire her for the next Zelda game. She seems to love the series too.
That's really cool. Very professional. Nice song, well shot, good looking woman too.
@Frosty_09 Ya, the fox was the only bad bit.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Song? is called a tune or? just asking because iam not english
I believe this is a song she created for the game, and not just a cover of a song from the game
I love the Zelda covers that both Lindsey Stirling and Taylor Davis do
@Kamalisk Thanks for noticing that It made me like the game a bit more by knowing her work is on it!
@Kamalisk @Damo
@fungusar A song is a type of music where someone is singing with lyrics but lots of people use the word 'song' for any music even without lyrics. 'Tune' is correct, and you can also use 'melody' or 'piece' to describe this music. (I know you didn't ask me but I'm an English teacher so I thought I could help ^^;)
This was a very beautiful song/piece, I'm interested to see where RiME goes once the reviews come out
@Damo @Kamalisk has pointed out that she actually COMPOSED this music for RIME and isn't just adapting it for a video. Explains the higher budget for the video a bit.
@aaronsullivan Apologies, the article has now been updated to reflect this!
A dancing while playing the violin Mormon girl? Oh please. That's as cheesy as it can get. Good music though.
A lot better music than I thought
That's great but when is the physical release for switch? Give us some NEWS
Sigh...this might make me buy this game. I adore Lindsay Stirling's work.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I am not surprised you commented on her physical appearance.
Stirling's work is always amazing! The video was good too, minus the CGI fox.
A gigantic meh, like the game eventually.
Lindsey is great! Went to one of her shows on her first tour. Super talented and seems genuinely kind. Her music is beautiful to boot. Thanks for sharing!
So cheeeesy, how is this news
Beautiful!
Lindsey is great, and I'm happy to see that she is continuing to work with the instrumental video game and fantasy themes she started out with. Her last album was a bit more pop-oriented than usual, still good stuff but not quite what I originally liked about her.
This just kicked my interest in RiME up a couple of notches. Does anybody know if she wrote more music for the game? Even her website doesn't say.
Wow, so beautiful music.
Btw, judging from latest trailer, what kind of RPG of RiME ?
Is it look similar with Zelda ? But I didn't see so many weapons or armors equipped.
Very nice!
Lindsey..where have you been. You are The Best
Love Lindsey Stirling. All of her albums have been great. Really awesome song she's put together here, can't wait for the game to come out.
