In the quickfire batch of announcements in the Nindies Showcase, Graceful Explosion Machine (by Vertex Pop) was shown off in a section focused on the HD Rumble of the Nintendo Switch.
It'll utilise the feature as part of what seems to be extremely colourful and chaotic shoot 'em up action. An official description and trailer are below.
Skillfully pilot the advanced Graceful Explosion Machine (GEM) fighter while blasting swarms of crystalline enemies with your ludicrously overpowered quad-weapon array. This side-scrolling arcade shooter features HD rumble support, which means players will really be able to feel those machines explode. The game is scheduled to launch first on Nintendo Switch this April.
As you can see above this one's out in April, so it's not long until we'll be able to try this out for ourselves.

Glad to see some game devs using HD rumble and not brushing it off.
I do not pass up good Shmups. Looks good (if chaotic) so far! Please don't let me down.
I think that with time HD Rumble will be a standard feature on games. Edit: as in the entire gaming industry.
Very pretty. Love the style.
This looks surprisingly good.
I really want this because I needs me a good ol' schmup.
Looks great. Love me a frantic shmup. Hopefully there are challenging and interesting bosses too.
Very apt game title...I'll be leaving space debris all over the place.
When the video started, my initial reaction was "An updated Defender?", from that old Atari game.
Nah, too much on the screen at the same time.
