Nintendo Life was in attendance at this year's EGX - officially the UK's biggest gaming event - and while we were there we got the chance to help out on the Nintendo UK stand, running live sessions on stage and our very own daily Splatoon tournaments.
A highlight of the event was Nintendo Life tune-smith Ryan Craddock performing his Super Mario Maker-inspired song, Mix It Up, live in front of a large and very receptive audience.
We tried to capture the performance below, and apologise in advance for the poor sound. As you can see, our resident video star Alex Olney really got into the spirit of things - in fact, we couldn't stop him from clapping for hours afterwards.
If you were there and witnessed this event, then let us know by posting a comment below.

WTF is up with the awful sound, sounds dreadful
Didn't Dean Martin sing that song originally?
I guess you had to be there...
The guy with the ponytail was having none of it haha
@PinkSpider We were recording on a directional mic (used for interviews) off a DSLR and the sound was VERY loud. Sadly we couldn't fit the super-expensive concert-quality audio rig in the boot of the car.
Apologies for the obvious distress this has caused you.
@Damo no worries Mr sarcastic lol
@OorWullie haha to be fair, he's a professional photographer who was covering Nintendo's booth. He was probably thinking of the best angle for his next shot
Great video other than the sound quality! I wish I could have been there to hear it in person!
