You like amiibo, right? Of course you do! Everyone does. And with that in mind, you'll no doubt be pleased to hear that Nintendo Life video expert Alex Olney teamed up with our friends at Family Gamer TV at EGX 2015 to get an up-close tour of all the lovely new amiibo on show at the expo.
On the Nintendo booth we got to have a gander at the Mega Yarn Yoshi, not to mention the Shovel Knight amiibo. Along with other amiibo were a host of Animal Crossing characters.
This of course led us to talk about the Animal Crossing cards and have a look at the complete collection of Series 1 that was on display on their giant wall. "Space saving" is definitely a word Alex would use.
Rounding the tour off Alex and Andy check out the Mii fighters, Brawler, Gunner and Sword Fights. Duck Hunt Duo and Mewtwo were the last two on display.

MEGA YOSHI will be mine eventually.....
I want all of them! I've preordered 2 Shovel Knight amiibo, one to keep sealed with the rest of my collection and one to put next to my monitor. I just received the Splatoon Squid amiibo bundle in the post, so I'm really happy to finally add a difficult amiibo to my collection.

The game will come with the small one, so I guess that'll be enough for the time being.

To be honest, I'm finally done with amiibo hunting. I only wanted my mains at first (Mii Brawler, Villager, Robin, Rosalina, Dr. Mario, Greninja, Jigglypuff, ROB, Lucas, Roy, and Yoshi), but when I found Marth hidden at my Target, I went out of control. I did manage to get all of the mains, but I'll have to wait for my Tazmily Toddler and my Melee Man next year. I don't care about any other amiibo ; just Lucas and Roy.
Calling it right now since the shovel knight amiibo is coming. Shovel Knight is going to be in Smash Bros U !
