As the Wii U eShop continues to attract more developers onto Nintendo hardware, we're sure to see various approaches as studios seek to reach out and communicate directly to their potential audience. Some download developers with content coming to the store are planning an online event to do just that, through a nine hour live chat Q & A.
It'll be hosted on the official website for Werewolf Island, a title from Sinn Development, with multiple studios taking part. Running from 12pm (noon) Eastern / 5pm UK / 6pm Europe until 9pm Eastern / midnight UK / 1am Europe on 29th July, the following developers and games will be part of the discussion.
Developers:
Sinn Development
HullBreach Studios
Blue Comet Games
John Whitmer
Ninja Pig Studios
Games:
Werewolf Island
Infinity Runner
Acro Storm
HullBreach Uncloaked
SDK Paint
The event will apparently also include some announcements and reveals, but the main goal is for gamers to visit and join in the live chat. It'll all be happening at www.werewolfislandgame.com/irc.html.
Are you planning to join this online event to chat to some Wii U eShop developers?
Thanks to Randy Freer of HullBreach Studios for getting in touch.

I never heard of any of these games that are listed in this article.Maybe i will learn more, when this Q and A is over.
If I'm reminded them I will otherwise no.
I've actually heard about three of these games, I actually talk to one of the developers from time to time on another forum, should be interesting. I'll see if I have the time.
9 hours is a lot of time to talk about a few indie games hope they make it good. While they of course not listed, with "announcements and reveals" people would go SHOVEL KNIGHT FOR SMASH
@BlackSpy
Yeah it is getting kinda sad. There have been some decent games, but the slow trickle we are getting is ridiculous. Surely we could get 2-3 per week? Maybe one from Nintendo and 1 or 2 from other developers? SMH
Is this just about Wii U developments, or just digital game developments in general? If the latter, I can see why it would run for a long time on just a few studios.
@drunne1178 I know. Have you seen Japan? they still get 2-3 per week per console (Wii U and 3DS) .America is lucky to get 1 different on each, a lot of times we get the same on both.
It says a lot how interested Nintendo fans are when it comes to 3rd party games when there are only nine comments with three mentioning Nintendo and the VC service.
@brandonbwii Third party support?Where did it said about third party support? Isn't this indie support? And where have you been, nintendo fans stop caring about third party support, a long time ago. Don't tell me you want them back, cause if you do then that's hilarious.
If it wasnt so late, I would like to attend.
I care for thirdparty games.
Horror titles -especially on Nintendo platforms- always catch my interest. Let's hope they deliver!
@midnafanboy Indies are third party devs.
@MrV4ltor You have proof? or you just said it too get attention.
@midnafanboy Definition of third party developer: Third-party developers are usually called upon by a video game publisher to develop a title for one (or more) systems. Both publisher and developer have considerable input in the game's design and content. However, the publisher's wishes generally override those of the developer.
@MrV4ltor Did you understand n what i asked you, i asked do you have proof of how indies are third party. Not the definition of third parties, which i already know.Never mind don't even answer you're just wasting my time.
@midnafanboy The definition of third party is proof enough that indies are also third part devs lol Someone's a little salty
Heads up: The list is not complete
Well i know Inifinity Runner is from the same makers of Master Reboot. thats all i know.
@midnafanboy
Indies ARE 3rd parties and, yes, the AAA 3rd party ship has already sailed.
@brandonbwii Well alright never thought indies can be third party though.
@midnafanboy 3rd party's are any studio not owned by a platform holder, making content that is not IP owned by a platform holder... Indies would qualify under that definition.
There is also second party titles which would be 3rd party studios making content owned by a first party..... Hyrule warriors, Luigi's Mansion 2 and Smash would qualify
