DSiWare Reels In Big Bass Arcade Later This Month

You saw what you can catch in the Big Bass Arcade trailer, now you can find out when you can cast your line out.

Big Bass Arcade from Big John Games is the latest in the growing line of fishing games from the Minnesota-based development studio. The game will feature 7 different lakes to display your fishing skills, 9 types of lure, 3 tournaments set across multiple lakes, and 42 events with high scores for each event. Players can choose between stylus controls and direction pad controls for casting and reeling actions.

Launching in North America on 16th May for 500 points, the game hopes to capture the "adrenaline rush of fish fighting in an arcade style game", in the words of Ken Patterson, president of Big John Games. Check back with us shortly after the launch when we will have a review and see if the game is a keeper.
