I'd much rather have consoles for the Wii U VC. We don't need it to be like the Wii VC where it had too many consoles and hardly any support for some of them.
Jesus is the only way.

I think it'd be pretty awesome if they put up the GBA Pokemon games and added in a transfer feature for Pokemon X & Y when those come out, unless of course those Pokemon are already included in the game.

This would be exciting if Nintendo's Virtual Console track record weren't so abysmal. If we end up getting GBA games on the Wii U we probably won't even see a quarter of them until the very end of the Wii U's life cycle if the Wii's VC release schedule is anything to go by. Luckily I have my Gamecube w/Gameboy Player hooked up right next to my Wii U with all my favorite GBA cartridges ready to play. =)
I have just thought of something, maybe the Wii U could have GameCube-GBA link support? This could work really well with games like Four Swords Adventures, would unlock the Tiny Chao Garden for the Sonic Adventure/Advance games, make Pacman VS playable, unlock content for GC games only available with a cable, as well as many other examples I can't think of at the moment. And for games with more than one GBA supported, you could 3DSs as well as the Game Pad. I really hope Nintendo takes advantage of this if they release GameCube games of the Virtual Console, it would be a huge opportunity wasted if they don't...
You're living in a dream world man. Nintendo couldn't even be bothered emulating the N64 controller pak.

To be fair, they did include the linked game for Oracle Of Ages and Seasons and they'll probably include the Tingle Tuner with Wind Waker HD.
This is just my personal opinion, but let's keep the GBA VC games for the the 3DS. Let's keep portable games portable, and console games remain console games.

I second that! I want GBA games on my 3DS, not my Wii U. I don't care if Nintendo feel they will annoy Ambassadors if they put them on. We've had our fun, let everyone else join in and, most importantly add more to the eShop.

Agreed
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I'm fine with that. I have my Ambassador's Certificate and that's good enough for me. I like to open and close it real quick before I go somewhere I know I'll get a lot of streetpasses. That way my Mii is carrying his little certificate when he ends up in someone's plaza. =D

. No. I'm ok if they put them on both, but I would love to be able to play the GBA classics without having to buy a 3DS.
I must have missed that part... what did they say? that a coulple of Gameboy Advance games are coming to Wii U? Not sure why people are complaining...
I have the Gameboy player on my Gamecube hooked to an 56" HDTV and it looks fine to me. Quit assumiing that everything has to be displayed on a 2 inch screen to look good.
Perhaps with Earthbound now finally being released to North American and European Virtual Consoles, we might have a slight hope of Mother 3 happening?
Nintendo has brought over Japan-only games before with the VC, and if I remember correctly, Mother 3 had a fully translated script before getting axed at the last minute.
Wait... What? How did I miss this??
So, they're planning on releasing GBA games on the Wii U's VC but still not even rumors about GBA games on 3DS's VC?
What's wrong with Nintendo? Sometimes I can't really understand what they have in their heads.
