Topic: Prblem with Skyward Sword package

Well, Walmart and Toys 'r Us stores in my area don't have the special package. It had been advertised, but no one has it. Whats the deal? I got my preorder money back... did this happen to anyone else?

You got your preorder money returned? Did you go and try to pick it up yesterday? If you did well thats probably because even if you preorder it they only hold it for you for so long before the put it back on the shelf.

With the fact that today is Black Friday and Skyward Sword is one of the hottest games this Holiday Season you are probably going to have a hard time finding it,

If it's the Limited Edition you were looking at then sorry to have to break the news to you but the package was made really Limited as in they only made a select amount and once there gone....well there gone until next year

Well... the thing is, the stores said they never actually GOT any... so we had no shot at getting one. They were giving out rainchecks at Toys 'r Us, and Walmart just said they never got any, so I think that something's up...

Well, Im going to e-mail Nintendo about this. Anybody know their e-mail?

I know I got the last two my Best Buy had. I've been back there a couple of times, and they still don't have them. Maybe this really is a limited edition, unlike the Super Mario All-Stars fraud.

The guy at Best Buy said I got the only copy that wasn't a preorder, people really wanted the gold wiimote. I have never preordered before, but I will next time there is a deal like this.

This is why I preorder at Gamestop. Yes, Gamestop, because I always get my game Day 1 with no trouble at all

Although they didn't include the gold wiimote, my local Best Buy had 30-40 copies which included the bonus CD.

@Shinesprite All copies of Skyward Sword will include the bonus CD until next year.
And I had no trouble with my bundle pre-order. I pre-ordered at Gamestop and picked it up around 7PM the day it came out.

Still haven't gotten a reply from Ninty...

Considering it's only been a few hours since you emailed them, that's not strange.

It usually takes 2 business days to get a reply, so I would think Tuesday at the earliest.

As I said its not that it was a limited edition its just that now that we are heading into the holiday season and its one of the hottest games its going to be hard to find especially with the gold Wiimote.

I saw 4 bundles today at Wal-Mart. If you're looking for the bundle, you might want to check your local Wal-Mart.

We did ckeck, andthey never got it. Nowhere in my area got the game, including Target

they probabaly did get some but you just talked to the wrong employee. they may have been out but i highly doubt they never got any at all.

@bossbank: it's very possible the stores did not get any at all. our walmart got 4, they expected at least 10. i know of stores in our area that did not get any. it's basically a problem of distribution and the limited number being available.

@bossmank well, wen an employee at 3 different stores tell you they never got any, then there's a problem

@SuperUltraDino: If you dont mind me asking do you live in a big city or some small rural town that may be something to take in consideration.

Have you tried like Walmart.com or Toyrus.com?
