I beat Sakura Wars for the 2nd time (Cheiron and Ratchet). It's not technically finished until I unlock all six endings though. But I doubt I'll beat it with everyone since some of the girls give me the creeps.
Isn't it easier to move this thread to General Discussion so that we can mention games on any platform that we recently finished?
I concur. TBD?
I would say so too from my perspective. I'd even find it interesting to hear about games on consoles i don't even know about. What made me do otherwise you ask ?
Well, as i mentioned in my first post i only got the idea after i watched a similar thread in the DS section of this forum. Nightwalker started it as a way of reading about good DS games he might get one day. (maybe even DSi-Ware, i don't know yet) What about the people who only got a DS and don't want to / haven't got the time to read about games on the Wii ? That were my thoughts when going for the Wii section of this forum.
As i wrote above i'd even find it interesting to hear about games on other consoles. So personally i wouldn't mind moving this thread in a more general section. I just don't want to kill or sabotage Nightwalker's idea here.
Okay, one more for the ontopic: Mario's Super Picross must have been the last VC game i've completed.
I downloaded Ghosts n Goblins (arcade version) last Monday on VC and have completed the game on all modes (easy, normal, hard, super hard)......and Yes, I did 2 playthru's each (that's the true way to beat it).
That is amazing. Now I feel the need to try this, too. I can beat the Commodore 64 version. But it is much easier than the other versions. I've never played the arcade version before.

... (also counting in WiiWare games if someone's wondering) ...
Whoa, am I blind?
So then the last Wii game that I completed was Art of Balance. It is one of the few puzzle games that I can complete without looking into a walkthrough at least once. Very relaxing. And has good graphics too. Very nice light-refraction, glass and water effects
Donkey Kong Country Returns. The fact that I've already started replaying the game (when I rarely replay games for time reasons) is definitely a good sign.
If GC counts, I just completed Wario World. Completed meaning I found all the diamonds, sprites, treasures, and Wario statue pieces. I guess it was okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, with an emphasis on the okay, but the parts that tried to be puzzles fail miserably. It's definitely not a must-buy, and probably not a must-try either.
I just completed Metroid Prime Corruption, and I say completed loosely. I am missing 2 of the 100 upgrades (one missile, one energy tank) and they aren't shown in any of the world maps, and are not on Valhalla. So, completed at 98% I suppose!
I finished Metroid: Other M with 100% last night. When I first got it a while back I played it for an hour before angrily ejecting it from my Wii screaming "THIS ISN'T PRIME!!!!". I gave it another chance about a week ago & once I got over the fact that it wasn't a Prime game & got my head round the combat system I was hooked. The atmosphere is immense on board the Bottle Ship & any game with Nightmare lurking as a boss gets the thumbs up from me. Whilst I probably still prefer the Prime games Other M is a very worthy addition to the Metroid universe. 9/10
@CharlieMaster: Was well aware of it's differences compared to Retro's offerings, but after spending so much time on those I didn't give Team Ninja's contender the time & patience it deserved. Very glad I did in the end & hope Team Ninja get to develop another, although seeing how it's fared saleswise perhaps not.

Now to wait for Sports Mix to come out.
You know in the lava place in Bryyo (can't remember the name)? And you warped to that ice realm to get the screw attack? Go there.
Finished the story of Overlord: Dark Legend today. Buggy, easy and short (less than 6 hours), although I think I am missing one health upgrade and I didn't finish one sidequest. I suppose I did know what I was getting into.
That's funny - I just finished Overlord: Dark Legend about a week ago. I did a few of the sidequests. I didn't want to look for all of the gnome spies, so I just stopped with that one.
I thought that this game was a huge missed opportunity. I really liked the minions. They had a lot of personality. But everything else (story, enemies, controls, graphics, sound) was just OK. It's cheap - less than $10 used at Gamestop. It's not a horrible game, but NPC Pikmin and Little King's Story, are much, much better choices at any price.

Doh! Thanks, just went there and found my two missing upgrades. 100%, suckers!
Just unlocked all the levels of Mario Sports Mix as well, which is about as 'finished' as I'll ever be. I don't feel like unlocking Square characters or recolors, but I'll certainly keep playing the game.
I think the last game I beat for Wii was Other M....not that any effort whatsoever was expended to do so. The last game I beat while playing my Wii was Super Mario Sunshine...and it won't ever be entering my Wii again. I didn't realize how much better Galaxy controlled...not to mention how big a difference the framerate made. Sunshine had too many levels built around falling off the top level and wasting a minute walking back up. Game was definitely a chore to beat.
