So....it's basically Super Mario All Stars on the Wii. Wow. Nintendo loves constantly pimping out their games again and again.

I do remember the reworked graphics and I do remember liking them, especially with Mario 2. If it does come out here in the states, and is reasonably priced, I will pick it up as I don't have any Mario games on the VC yet.

seriously? how many threads have we had regarding All-Stars eventually hitting the VC? not to mention that it always pops up in the 'most wanted for VC' lists... i know i'll settle for a Wii version at a discounted retail price (no way in hell i'd pay $50 for it like a normal Wii game, but $20-$25 with that soundtrack and booklet sounds good to me).

So whats the difference? Between All Stars and this. The most i'd lay down is $20.

It will sell like crazy, sure. But it still feels like they're putting in as little effort as possible.

If it was on the DS, I would buy it in a heart beat.

I'm getting it just for the soundtrack. People always asked for the SMG2 soundtrack for Club Nintendo and All-Stars for VC. You guys are finally getting your wish! Maybe not in the way you expected, but we're finally getting it.

i may get it just for the xtras included + it's limited production. could be worth some bucks in the future

@The Fox: lol, but i want them to put in as little effort as possible. i don't want anything about it changed. all i want is the original All-Stars for my Wii at a reasonable price. :3

I might get 2, one to play and open the other to keep sealed for collection purposes. $10 over the cost of a Wii game.

My thoughts as well. It's a re-release. And, in fairness, it's a re-release that many people have been vocal about wanting. I'm not sure it'd please their prospective buyers to find out that they went all George Lucas on it.

I think the booklet and soundtrack is the correct way for Nintendo to not be lazy about this release. People would still buy it for $30. How many? I don't know. But they're giving us some nice little collectibles as well as the game, and I can't in good conscience ask for anything else.

As I said I'm getting 2! Oh wait and tax.

So it not a New Mario-All Star, just the same one that was on the SNES in a Disc,
With No Super Mario World, or adding any new ones at all....
But it comes with a buch of Mario Stuff.....

I'll wait for All-Star 2

this sounds pretty much worth it if for the soundtrack alone.
