So what you think of these lists?

That's a pretty good list for the wii, my favorite mature game on the wii has to be madworld, the black and white look of the game is so stylish.

SKTTR

Nothing to complain.

A good reliable list with
Resident Evil,
Metroid,
No More Heroes
and Bully
on the top spots.

When I read the word 'mature' on the topic's title, I thought you were talking about M rated games.

Anyways, that list looks pretty good and there will be more good mature titles that will hopefully score more than 75% in the future.

ACK

Silent Hill: SM (deserves WAY more respect than it receives), RE4, and MP3/Trilogy are all in a class of their own.

Metroid Prime isn't really a mature game.. And if it's rated as such, it shouldn't be.

Either way, RE4: Wii edition is probably my favorite, I quite liked Madworld too in short bursts.

There he goes, Firkraag. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. - My VGscore

I have:
Madworld - Very enjoyable and visually fantastic (imo) beat up which can get a lil samely though.
The House of The Dead: Overkill - Fun n action packed, with a wicked sense of hummor - A Wii Classic imo.

PhillaLoup

I added the second list ... some mega-hyped games like "Red Steel", "The Conduit" or "Disaster: Day of Crisis" are on there ...

Although the second list is a bit more hit-or-miss, the first one really has a lot of great titles. If forced to choose one, I'd probably pick Metroid Prime Trilogy... but there are 13 that I either own already or plan to own before long, all totally worth playing.

(Add 5 more to that number if counting the second list of games.)

I'm very new to the Wii and it's my first console since the Sega Dreamcast and prior to that is was the Genesis so you can see I completely missed or bi-passed the whole Playstation/Xbox generation of games..

I'm probably a little older than most gamers being 41 but my favorite style of game would be those with the M rating. I'll use this list as a guide, but I've already been building my list of games to get by reading the reviews here ( nintendolife ).

So far I've only played HOD:Overkill which I thought was excellent with a high replay value. I'm now playing Cursed Mountain which I am having a great time with. Next up on my list are most likely No More Heroes ( the first one so I can follow the story into the second ) and Medal Of Honor 2 which up until COD:MW seems like it was the best Wii FPS. RE4 is only high on the list when I find a copy in a local Gamestop.

It's a shame that many of the game developers don't seem happy with sales of their games on the Wii because I think the controls available for the Wii are much more immersive that just button mashing - but then again, at 41 years old you do start to lose patience for learning dozens of button combinations you need to remember at a seconds notice, LOL!

what do i think of these lists? i think, "the Wii has no mature games for hardcore mature players. the wii sucks. the wii is for kids and grandmas and not gamers. if you like the wii you must be immature and stupid. the wii doesn't even have good graphics. the wii is just a toy for babies that babies play with and then get bored of because it only has wii sports."

On the first list I'm pretty much interested in every game but the war- and wrestling-games.

(91 / 10) Metroid Prime Trilogy [USK: 16] I got Corruption but the Trilogy is just epic!
(88 / 09) No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle [USK: 18] I'll preorder that game as it becomes available in EU
(83 / xx) Bully: Scholarship Edition [USK: 16] Seems cool for 10€ or so
(82 / 09) Dead Space: Extraction [USK: 18] I really like railshooters - so I'll get this one when the time is right
(78 / 09) The House of The Dead: Overkill [USK: 18] See above
(77 / 09) Silent Hill: Shattered Memories [USK: 16] I'm a huuuuge survival horror fan
(77 / 07) The Godfather: Blackhand Edition [USK: 18] Don't know how this belongs to this list
(76 / xx) Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil [USK: 18] I already own the GC version

I still think Silent Hill: Shattered Memories doesn't get near enough love... It's one of the most progressive, compelling, and profound games of this generation. More people really need to play it.

It's in the TOP 15 of the first list so it must be good. But honestly? I'm scared of the game!

So ends a saga older than time itself.

Honestly, I haven't played them yet!
