Today, I purchased Nano Assault Neo. It's pretty good and I suggest you try it out. I've wanted this title for a while now but I knew it had been on sale before. This leads me to the eshop's sale problem. Perhaps when more content is on the eshop it will resolve itself but I am discouraged from buying anything until it is on sale. I don't want to regret spending $20 on Trine 2 when I know in two weeks or so it'll be on sale again for half that. I don't want sales to go away but this on and off sale price on the same titles every couple of weeks does not seem like a good strategy. What are your thoughts?
Xbox Live had the same problem, through the fact that so many titles were selling good amounts due to the sales more devs were interested in selling on the platform. This caused more games being released on the Xbox Live Arcade service which gave Microsoft more sale options. In time it will work itself out.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Well, Runner 2 has never gone on sale. I think it's the only eshop game so far to not have a sale yet.

Yea, but now I'm not buying Runner 2 which I really want because I assume it will go on sale. And, honestly, ten is kind of my limit on these games. I'm sure it's great but fifteen seems steep.
@DefHalan : I figured with time and more titles it won't seem as ridiculous. I think Trine 2 has been on sale three times already. Which makes me think it should just have a permanent reduction at this point.
I've basically decided that from now on I will not buy eShop games unless they are on sale or I really intend to play them right away, because I have many games in my backlog, and it would be dumb to buy a game at full price and then not even play it before it went on sale.
