Watching the glitches from Sonic '06 gives the same impression, which is probably not that great. Sonic jumped, jumped, then fell through the earth to his neverending hell.

Well, it was fun while it lasted.
They clearly wouldn't have removed it if the video material would have favorable. This, combined with a release day without any published reviews doesn't seem too good.
Man its crazy how SEGA sort of wiggled out of that three game deal, I like lost world and think the Olympics game is okay ven if it isn't my cup of tea. However I feel like Sonic Boom was never meant to be one of the Nintendo games, but sega threw it in their after to get the next sega team game on as as many consoles.
It sucks because Sega Team was on a okay foundation and boom will single handily throw all the good will Colors - Lost World made.

Unless you can find more glitches than this, Sonic 06 is still worse than this.
Full judgement on quality will have to wait until to tomorrow, when people actually get to play it.

Zelda, Final Fantasy, etc. Sonic most certainly isn't the only franchise with a fanbase that can't agree with one another.
