@Slappy: I'm in the beta, by nature of being a PS+ member. Which is to say I WILL be when it releases for PS+. IIRC, that's this coming Tuesday.

Guys, guys, guys. The best news all week, no, month! An English translation of one of the Japan-only Wizardry games is headed to the US, courtesy of XSEED!

About time Wizardry emerged from the grave in the West. It's remained so popular over in Japan.

Also, I started playing through Atelier Rorona properly, after having the game sitting there barely touched for months. It's good fun, if very niche. Loving the idea of a RPG that doesn't focus on combat so much.

What does this mean for PAL regions then? Good news for the US but pretty much useless info elsewhere.

No it isn't. You can import PlayStation 3 games from the US, and they will run fine on PAL PS3s.

It amazes me how few people know this :-/

@Waltz... that is really great news, but I've got to admit that I've stumble upon a bit of news that can even beat that one! Can't spoil it though for you guys, I'll be writing up the article tonight. I think this one will really be a big hit, if it ends up actually happening.

I think you underestimate how awesome it will be to have a Wizardry game that doesn't hurt my head from having to translate everything It's a solid 4.5/5 game, as I wrote in my review, so everyone who likes RPGs should be looking at this one when XSEED does its release.

@starlight the online for the ps3 is solid but it occasionally doesnt connect for ranked games but ive never had a laggy game

Has anyone tried out the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo? I played it for a while and found it to be fun. (some of the best fps graphics and framerate that I have seen) It hasn't connected for me the past couple of days though. I expect the demo servers to be taken down when it releases on Tuesday, but I am not sure.

Nah, it almost always depends on the publisher as to which system a particular game is lead developed for. As for Crysis 2 the 360 hardware is more friendly for developers who have cut their teeth on the P.C, so that might have something to do with it.

I ordered Final Fantasy XIII, it'll be here Wednesday! I found it for $15 so that's not too big of a loss if I end up hating it as almost everyone else seems to.

I've never said the PS3 couldn't handle connectivity, I just got it for 360 because I have a sub there and I have Friends I talk to there then on PS3.

Trust me on this one - the average Joe isn't going to care about the game regardless. Wizardry is just for the hardcore fans, and they'll be quite happy to import from the US

@strofan crysis 2 isnt inferior to the xbox version in any way, in fact i believe the graphics are actually better its just inferior to the PC version whos demo i played on the highest graphical settings and it looked quite pretty. i believe ppl were talking about the DEMO being inferior cause it had major connection issues
