Just waiting for that physical release from 505 Games. Originally scheduled for July but it was recently changed to TBD. Great game, this will be a triple-dip for me. Wii U, PS Vita, and soon Switch.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,247 games (as of April 15th, 2024)

@SwitchForce This game is just 227 MB, maybe 300 with updates. It's hardly eating up any space, especially for the content. But yeah, buying it physical is 227 MB saved for something else that you can't get on retail.
If you find your Switch memory's space running out, you can archive old, unplayed demos, apps, or games.
And you can delete old saves, especially the saves from demos that you never play again. (Save files need to be deleted separately from the Game files).
A bit of a shame the physical release is still two months away, but I also put hundreds of hours into Terraria and [also] just want to have it physically.
EDIT: Hmm, just looked around and seems like all the dates are just placeholders. ^^' So I guess no idea yet when it will release.
It's german, so just turn off the sound . You'll see how fast it is to create a new world and generally how the game runs (spoiler: it runs great so far)
Hmm, according to Gamestop the North America physical release is scheduled for August 27th.

I am interested in the game but I realised that there is no creative/free build/sandbox mode.
Is there a way to just go in the game and build anything you like.
For example a castle on top of a hill or … anything?
Like in Minecraft (not creative mode) you are put in the world and you start collecting resources and you can build ANYTHING.
I want just that. To be able to build anything I desire without the game limiting me in any hard way.
Is it possible on the Switch version. (Physical of course!)
@DennisNOR Thanks for the reply. I've shelved the idea for now though. I had a retailer voucher that was expiring last night so I had to use it - £30 off a £60 spend. Trouble was I already owned most of the Switch games they held. It came down to Terraria or a pre-order for Cadence of Hyrule. I actually already have a physical version of Terraria for Wii U that I haven't tried, so I went for Cadence instead.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
Version 1.3.5.1 if you are talking about the switch version which i am assuming.
That means it is not fully up to date, missing the Journeys end update, still its really a lot of course.

It got splitscreen though! Didn't know that
