Who's gonna pick this one up? I'm really excited for this compilation as I've never played any of the games on it apart from the original Pacman and LOVE Pacman Championship Edition 2 and Pacman 99 on Switch... they all look like great portable games.
But does anyone find it weird it's out in three weeks and still no eShop listing? Does anyone have any idea what the price is going to be in the UK? Thanks
Probably £20 seeing as it's retailing for US$30 in the States, and digital-only releases in Europe/Australia tend to be priced a little cheaper than if they had too been issued a physical release.
"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"
I’d love to preorder it since it will come out literally just one day before my birthday, so it’s like perfect timing… But Amazon Mx doesn’t have a listing for it yet, either…
I’m still torn about importing it from Play-Asia as the Japanese release is significantly cheaper, but I default to the US or European release where there is one available.
I’m tempted to wait for a slight price drop and order it via Amazon AU, but paying a premium merely for English packaging seems silly.
But I do have the Japanese retail release of Coffee Talk, forgoing Strictly Limited’s release (which I don’t think I was aware of at the time).

I really want Pacman World 2 on the Switch. I had that on GameCube and loved it. Is it on the Museum+?
Also, @Silly_G, I have not found a way to DM on these boards and I cannot hold it in.......your profile pic makes me so happy every time it pops up! <3

Do you happen to know if the Japanese version will have English language options?
£20 is REALLY good value if the UK one retails at that price too, especially with the amount of games on it. Puts those expensive/half-hearted Space Invaders collections to shame!
According to Wikipedia, no, it doesn't have any of the World games:
I wonder if they'll do a Pac-Man Museum+ 2 with the missing games on? They do have form of doing two series compilations, eg the Namco Museum Archives games.
It could include:
Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures
Pacman Adventures in Time
Pacman World
Pacman World 2
Pacman World 3
Pac-Man World Rally
Pac-Man Championship Edition+
... and other missing games
Or maybe even start putting out more games as DLC to expand your museum

Yes. There seems to be only one version of the game internationally. The Japanese release includes English plus the standard European languages.
Oh nice! I'm tempted myself but will probably go for the digital version, only because it seems like such a pick up and play short burst game that I'd like to just play whenever without changing the cartridge all the time.
They don’t seem to care much about these World games tbh, but even if they did, since they feature Ms Pac Man, it is unlikely they’ll want to re-release them any time soon.
It might be easy to replace her in Pac Land, but a 3D game with pre-rendered cutscenes is a different story.
@Eel Yeah, I don't want to have another Sonic 3 situation where any Ms. Pac Man-featuring games are kept in limbo for decades because of complicated legal reasons.
Whoa, not something I am aware of (Ms. Pacman).....guess I should go learn something! I suppose we have enough similar games to the world ones anyway (sans Pacman), so it would not make sense to resolve any difficult legal issues to release them just for the sake of featuring Pacman.

As the only game I've played from the collection is the original Pacman it'll be a bit overwhelming but also incredibly interesting! I'm not sure whether to play them in order or if one of the later games might be more accessible to begin with.
