Y'know since I'm getting a Switch 2 next month, a couple of things I'd like to know. I think I can guess the answer to these, but purely to be certain.

When I end up using the same account as I have on Switch 1...
Will it have my save data and/or save states I have for NSO/Nintendo Classics games?
Can I download games I already bought and downloaded on Switch 1?

Before Star Fox confirmed N64 controller usage I was also gonna ask about that but that speaks for itself now. (in hindsight, the idea of playing some of these games without an N64 controller sounds like a nightmare). It would also be weird if the Smash controller adapter thing didn't work so that also seems like a safe bet.

@kkslider5552000 nintendo classics data is backed up in the cloud, so even if you didn't do a full transfer, you could still redownload your save data.

speaking of which, full transfers automatically start on redownloading every game you had on your switch 1 once setup is finished. of course, if you don't do that, just go into your virtual cards and redownload from there.

I would suggest doing the official transfer process to make sure all your account info and save files get moved over. It makes it very easy.

I believe there is an option to not automatically download every game when you do the transfer.

It sorta bums me out that I can't get the SNES controllers from the Nintendo Store anymore. I want to play Super Metroid, and the only way I can is through the SNES NSO app. It would be nice to have one of these controllers because of how poorly the joycon layout is for that game in particular (and while I can rebind the controls, I feel like its just better to have the layout of the original controller). I don't know if they've discontinued manufacturing the SNES controllers, or if they'll ever go back in stock.. but they're still making NES controllers so its weird that the SNES ones aren't able to be bought anymore.

Anyone have tried Cairn demo by the way? Just tried half an hour or so (aka, going through the tutorial).

Damn the game feels really good, especially with how you really have to consider your route + where you put your limbs to climb up.

(Cairn is a game about how Avaa is trying to climb up the mountain)
