Hi lovely community! We’re near the busiest month of the gaming calendar of 2026. As everyone tries to get out of GTA 6 path and ends up fighting each other for our single month’s budget, I’m wondering what each of you are considering for the upcoming month.

For me if I have to pick only one (which is likely), then it’s Fire Emblem. Onimusha would be my second pick. And there are quite a few games from August and earlier that I couldn’t get yet such as Lies of P, Star Fox, Splatoon Raiders and the upcoming Elden Ring.

Seriously no idea how are we gonna get the money and the time to play everything awesome coming our way.

Control Resonant for me in September, already pre ordered the deluxe edition on Steam and super stoked to play it

Fire Emblem and Orbitals for me.

Everything else is going to have to wait, I guess.

I'm only getting the new Fire Emblem. I don't have much of an interest in the other games- or at least enough of an interest to get them at launch.

So far I have... Orbitals, Fire Emblem, Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, Harvest Moon... aghhhh!

Edit: Wait, Harvest Moon is early Oct. Thankfully lol

Only Onimusha and Fire Emblem so far, a rather quiet month but October is crazy packed.

there isn't much for me that releases in September, which is good because there is some stuff from August that I want to catch-up on
The only games form this month I'm 100% picking up day one are Onimusha, Sin: Reloaded and Two Point Hospital: Full Health Collection, there is some other stuff releasing in September I'm interested in like LEGO Batman and Hot Wheels Infinite Rush but I'm going to wait for reviews on those

I'll be real, I got my eyes on Zero Company right at the end of the month and Fire Emblem next month, and that's kinda it. When I have beaten and had my fill on both of these games I'll look around at what else came out, but I sorta don't care about whatever else comes out of the next month or two being honest. I'm not usually this single focused on titles like this, but its been a weirdly quiet year for games I particularly enjoy / have interest in, so it has just left me with a lot of time to fixate on these two titles. 😂

Life to the living, death to the dead.

I think we’re pretty funny if we can step back and look at ourselves: Some of us saying we “only” have 2-3 games we’re getting next month is pretty insane lol

Like, that’s what most people buy for an entire year.

We are definitely a subsection of people who own Switches haha

If I had someone to play with, I could be interested in Orbitals, but as it stands there's nothing I'm planning to pick up in September. Right now, the only new game I'm planning to get for the rest of this year is the Ocarina of Time Remake.

"well it appears I am upside down. what ever will I do?"
I will reference Deltarune at every opportunity

I have Onimusha and Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on my wish list for September releases.

@rallydefault We’re definitely not the average consumer haha. Between August and October I have added more than 10 games to my wishlist. Plus the backlog. I have no idea when if ever I’ll have enough time to play everything that interests me haha.

Edit: I’m playing Paper Mario TTYD for the first time on Switch 2, for example, tackling a bit of my backlog since money was short this month. In turn, doing so increased the list of new games I want…
