I've heard praise for Block Ball's OST plenty of time over the years. The game itself is niche, but I'm pretty sure that everyone who's actually played it loves the soundtrack.

I don't think Amazing Mirror's soundtrack sucks, its just below the standard set by most other Kirby games. The problem is that GBA is often just not the best for video game music overall (compare Megaman or Castlevania on GBA to other games elsewhere in those series or DKC1 and Mario World vs the SNES original)

@Grumblevolcano this was super early on, where you predicted legends arceus and super mario world in the same post.

they were then released back to back, and aj gave you a point for super mario world despite you making a different prediction that week.

I don't like the idea of a Special Release for Switch Sports Resort but unfortunately it has a good chance of happening (I got nothing against Switch Sports Resort, I just want at least one soundtrack this month that I care about)

@squiddu-real I didn't predict Super Mario World at all. @skywake was the one that got double prediction over 2 weeks (Super Mario Kart followed by Super Mario World).

I miss those extra Splatoon 2 tracks. I put them in a playlist and downloaded them, so I could still listen to them after they were removed, but I edited the playlist and they were removed from it!

someone on reddit pointed out that they could be saving kirby stuff for the anniversary next year, given that the amount of main nintendo characters with "substantial" amounts of osts on the service are declining and the strange focus on wario recently.

i will continue to predict kirby super star until april and hope they're wrong.

...oh, and pokemon pokopia special release, or ring fit adventure.

I would have thought that about Pokémon this year, but we got exactly one game out of that. Yippee.

(We also got that weird Game Boy jukebox that kind of deconfirms Pokémon Red and Blue on the service for the time being lol)

We've gotten all our Kirby and Pokémon for this year. But don't worry, next year we will get special releases for Winds/Waves and World Beyond!

The entire back catalog of Wario games, however, as well as a Special Release for a new Wario Land coming out in 2029, will all be added by February.

I might complain about the lack of Pokémon a lot, but I'm glad that we've at least never gotten any Special Releases for it. Too bad I can't say the same about Kirby lol

It's all Sakurai's fault that we got stuck with Special Releases.

All this talk about Wario is setting me up for disappointment. Thanks to the Wario discussion and @Sylamp 's idea of Gargoyle's Quest 2, I came up with a neat spooky NSO drop:

• Tomb Raider (the first GBC game)
• Tomb Raider Curse of the Sword

Wario Land 2 debuted Zombie Wario and the Tomb Raider picks are about the plot (but as a side thing works well for 30th anniversary celebrations).
