Nintendo announced a Nintendo Direct focusing on Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. What are some of your thoughts on this announcement, and what does it mean for a potential February Direct? I feel as though this might free up some space and make the next big Nintendo Direct focus more on Switch 2 and bigger releases.
I suppose Tomodachi Life will probably be Nintendo's April game. I'll admit I'm a bit surprised about 2 cozy games in back to back months (with Pokopia in March), but if it comes out later in the month I'm sure it'll work out just fine.
"well it appears I am upside down. what ever will I do?"
Currently Playing: Hollow Knight: Silksong, Pokémon LeafGreen
Nintendo Switch 2 Username: Owlex
Hopefully it’s like Galaxy where the switch 2 visuals are free… knowing Nintendo though I’m not holding my breath, probably $60 for switch 1 and $65-70 for switch 2

@Johnny_Arthur I personally agree with you that it's relevant, but the topic is just too controversial and I believe against this website's terms. It is what it is. The sad part is that by completely removing the ability to discuss these things, it doesn't make the topic go away. It just pushes it to the fringes. But I can also understand the nightmare of moderating these topics.

The solution is simple: expel the one causing the scene, the one feigning offense, or playing the victim to justify their insults—not the one bringing up the topic of conversation.
Why would NL want to keep those kinds of people here?
Looks really good imo. Slight nitpick but I'm not the biggest fan of the entirely flat island design. I do also sorta wish we could congregate everyone into one apartment building like the original, but the 8-person complexes do look cool.
I hope they bring these back:
the microgrames you can play with residents
the concert hall, etc
activities that the user can't influence, for example like that one get together that would happen at the cafe in the evenings on the 3DS game
and I do hope at some point they allow online mii sharing. In addition to this, I hope in some way this game would be a good way to slowly reintroduce miiverse/streetpass.
At the end of the day though, looks phenomenal and I'm grateful to finally get a sequel after all of these years waiting. I was very young when I got the 3DS game for Christmas.
