We all have them: a game or series that we need to get a revival of, a crossover that has to happen, or maybe a DLC that's just absolutely necessary. So, what is/are yours??
Me personally, I would say:
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort DLC — Adds things like Foosball (Mouse Mode lets you move the sticks, ZR/ZL to flick) as well as more cosmetics because I love them 🤭
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle 3-Pack — Include Ages, Seasons, and the unreleased 3rd game, all in a brand new artstyle and with fresh content to tie them together even more.
SUPER Mario Sports Mix — I refuse to elaborate, just give it to me now, nintendo!
A Shield Hero turn-based JRPG with graphics, voice acting and music like the anime and the ability to walk around in combat like Dragon Quest 11. I think Sega or Bandai Namco could do it, considering they make and publish other anime games. Make it come out on both Switch 1 and Switch 2, as well as Playstation and Xbox. The Switch version costs $60 and Switch 2 version costs $70, Switch 1 version can be upgraded to Switch 2 version through $10 upgrade pack. Switch 2 version preferably not a Game Key Card. If the entire game, including any potential dlc, is on the cartridge except maybe a bug fix patch or two I would buy it physically.
My top 5 favorite games:
1: Pokémon Violet
2: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
3: Animal Crossing New Horizons
4: Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
5: The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
-3D Kirby in the style of a Platinum Games game (I'd originally wanted Platinum games themselves to make it but I'm not sure about them in 2025 anymore)
-Beyond Good and Evil 2 to be real and good and live up to both its own ambitious ideas and what made the first game good, somehow.
-Speaking of which, Jade or Rayman in Smash Bros (Rayman's the one that has any chance of happening, let's be honest). Soul Calibur rep or Ryu Hayabusa or Geno would be cool too. (ideally in a Switch 2 release for Smash Ultimate that comes with the return of break the targets)
-New Megaman game with the same quality and ambition of the last two DKC games or Rayman Origins/Legends
-Megaman Legends 3
-New Mario RPG that lives up to the old games without being an obvious nostalgia pandering game (especially since Mario has done too much nostalgia pandering even by Mario standards)
-Mario Odyssey 2 where Donkey Kong is the villain this time (almost certainly not happening with the new DK game as it is, even if they could've done some twist where Bowser or K Rool was the real villain)
-Chrono Trigger and Pokemon gen 5 given the HD-2D treatment
-SNES DKC and GBA Golden Sun games given the SMRPG remake treatment
-Xenogears remade with all the planned content put in
-Metroid Prime Pinball game that is a quasi-remake of Prime 2 and 3 the same way the previous one was for one
