Topic: We have hit a graphics plateau...

With this age of hd gaming, I don't think graphics can get much better. Sure, games can get larger, but I don't think we will see large leaps in regards to graphics..

On-topic: When you say "gaming plateau", you're implying the overall quality of games has hit a high it will never improve on. Just because graphics can't improve doesn't mean gameplay can't either: as long as gameplay stays fresh and innovative, we will never hit a "gaming plateau".

I'm talking about both graphics and res. From my viewpoint, I don't think we will really notice any graphical or res improvements. Sure there will be improvements, but on not as large of a scale as before..
